Which TESOL / TEFL Course is Right for Me?

The 120-hour Advanced TESOL Certificate course is perfect for people who want to take advanced training in an online format and meet minimum requirements for teaching positions in North America, internationally, or online. This online course offers the same level of training as a 4-week CELTA course with comprehensive training in the areas of grammar, phonology, teaching methods, and lesson planning (3 lab assignments).  The online 120-hour TESOL course leads to TESL Canada Standard 1 accreditation on completion of the separate 20-hour TESL Canada-approved Practicum.

The 168-hour Hybrid TEFL Certificate (CA$400/US$320 OFF) is our most comprehensive course for those who want to teach abroad or remotely! This course combines the 120-hour course with the live workshop and three specialists on teaching young learners, teaching online, and using resources in foreign countries.

The 250-hour TESOL Diploma course provides a greater understanding of the impact of lesson planning on curriculum development (7 lab assignments).  The 250-hour course is recommended for IELTS teachers*, Academic Coordinators, ESL College teachers, and high-paying positions where a minimum of 250 hours of training is preferred. Many people who completed this course have pursued international opportunities in school management, academia, and publishing. The online 250-hour TESOL course leads to TESL Canada Standard 2 accreditation on completion of the separate 50-hour TESL Canada-approved Practicum.

*an additional 20-hour online specialist is recommended but not required for these teaching jobs.
