In this course, you will find detailed information about the IELTS test and you will also explore strategies and techniques to teach all four papers (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking). You will have access to materials for online practice to help you prepare your IELTS lessons.
Online Tutor
This course is fully online and you will be assigned an experienced tutor to answer your questions and correct your assignments.
Teaching IELTS Certificate
On completion of the course, you will receive a 20-hour Teaching IELTS Certificate awarded by Coventry House International-OnTESOL. A stamped hard copy will be mailed and graduates also have the option of downloading a digital copy.
Course Duration
This course takes a minimum of one week to complete, but trainees are given up to 8 weeks to complete the course.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must have an internationally recognized TESOL, TEFL, or TESL certification course in order to take this course.

Teaching IELTS Course Syllabus
The 20-hour Teaching IELTS specialist course consists of 5 chapters, with a total of twenty (20) hours’ work. The course must be completed within 2 months.
Modes Of Assessment
The topics will be assessed through one final assignment, which consists of a lesson plan. This final lesson plan should show comprehension of lesson planning format (aims, objectives, assumptions, anticipated problems and solutions, interactive patterns and timing), lesson plan procedure containing strategies and techniques to help IELTS students to improve their examination skills, and assessment strategies to determine if the students achieved the intended outcome.
